Immunohistochemistry & Immunofluorescence: Frozen Sections

  1. Take out slides from freezer and leave at RT to dry and get rid of OCT (~40min)
  2. Incubation in 4% PFA (15 min) - (***can perform H & E staining at this point***)
  3. Wash in 1X PBS for 10 min (3x)
  4. Add blocking solution: 1-2 hr at RT in a humidifying chamber
  5. Continue with normal procedure for IHC or IF
