UT Southwestern named Official Sports Medicine Partner for Dallas Pulse
Women’s pro volleyball team excels in inaugural season
DALLAS – April 27, 2026 – UT Southwestern Medical Center has been named the Official Sports Medicine Partner for the Dallas Pulse, North Texas’ women’s professional volleyball team in Major League Volleyball (MLV). The new sponsorship agreement supports the Dallas Pulse’s commitment to athlete wellness, performance, and long-term health on and off the court.

The Dallas Pulse embodies this intensity and has quickly established itself as one of the top teams in MLV, clinching a playoff berth in its inaugural season. Behind impact performances across the entire roster, including dynamic outside hitters Mimi Colyer and Sofia Maldonado Diaz and former Olympian and team captain Natalia Valentin-Anderson, the team, which plays its home games at Comerica Center in Frisco, continues to build momentum at the highest level of women’s professional volleyball.

Chelsea Cole, M.D., Director of Sports and Musculoskeletal Medicine and Assistant Professor of Family and Community Medicine and Orthopaedic Surgery at UT Southwestern, will serve as Lead Team Physician.
Dr. Chen holds the Dr. Charles F. Gregory Distinguished Chair in Orthopaedic Surgery.
