The Women in Science and Medicine Advisory Committee (WISMAC) is a UT Southwestern Medical Center institutional standing committee formed in 1994. The Committee is composed of appointed representatives of the faculty, administration, fellows, and student body. Over the past 20 years, it has championed for women in science and medicine at UT Southwestern. WISMAC collaborates with the Office of Women's Careers on selected projects and organizes several independent projects.
