World Password Day

May 2, 2024, is World Password Day, with the goal of raising awareness about the importance of good password hygiene.

Password tips –

  • Keep it unique to UTSW
  • The longer the better
  • Build a passphrase
  • If compromised, change immediately
  • No sharing
  • UTSW password will not expire, so beware of any unsolicited notification that your password has expired or request to create a new one
