Your voice is vital: 2024 VIP survey

Colleagues,

Today marks the official kickoff of employee engagement survey season at UT Southwestern and we are eager for your feedback. Earlier this morning, you should have received an invitation from Glint to take the annual Values in Practice (VIP) survey.

The VIP survey remains one of the most important ways to gather employee feedback throughout the year. Your confidential responses help us understand what is working well and what we can do better to ensure that UT Southwestern is a place where each of us feels engaged, supported, and respected.

In a change for this year, UT Southwestern is conducting two surveys – our standard annual VIP survey is being sent to nonfaculty employees who are outside of the Health System. A new survey called SCORE (Safety, Communication, Operational Risk, Resiliency/Burnout, and Engagement) will this year be sent to employees and faculty who work in clinical roles, those who support clinical areas, and individuals who interact closely with them. Both surveys are highly important to UTSW and will assist us in continuing to make UT Southwestern a great place to work.

You have been selected to take the VIP survey this year, which will take 3 to 5 minutes to complete and is conducted through Glint, a third-party vendor. Please check your email for your personalized invitation from Glint with the subject line “UT Southwestern values your feedback.”

You will be asked about key employee engagement areas that align with the UTSW values of excellence, innovation, teamwork, and compassion. You can find additional information in this FAQ resource. If you have questions, please reach out to the Employee Engagement team for assistance with this initiative.
