The UT Southwestern Frisco medical office building and its associated Texas Health Hospital are now open.

After a great deal of planning and much anticipation from the community, the UT Southwestern Frisco medical office building and its associated Texas Health Hospital are now open.

Located at the corner of Dallas North Tollway and Cobb Hill Drive, UT Southwestern Frisco is in the middle of a community that is growing exponentially. In 2018, the U.S. Census Bureau identified Frisco as the fastest-growing big city in the nation, with an annual population increase of 8.2 percent.

The new four-story medical office building offers care in dozens of pediatric and adult specialties, with the Department of Surgery contributing endocrine, bariatric, vascular, and colorectal surgery to this list. Pharmacy, imaging, and lab services are also available.

The new medical campus is the result of a partnership between UT Southwestern and Texas Health, and a skybridge connects the UT Southwestern Frisco medical office building to the Texas Health Frisco Hospital. The 120,000 square-foot medical office building contains 105 exam rooms, while the adjacent 132-bed hospital includes a 24/7 emergency room, surgical services, women’s services, and a NICU. The office/hospital partnership allows providers to share medical records between the two locations.
