Professor - Director
The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, is seeking a Director for the newly established Cardiovascular Epidemiology Center. The position requires an M.D./Ph.D., or Ph.D., in Epidemiology and 10-15 years of epidemiologic experience and demonstrated leadership. Level of appointment will be commensurate with applicable experience. The position will develop and direct the Cardiovascular Epidemiology Center including the recruitment of faculty, research and administrative personnel, and postdoctoral fellows. The position will also be expected to develop their own research program focusing on cardiovascular epidemiology. The position will also have medical student, graduate student, house staff, and fellow teaching responsibilities.
