The Division of Infectious Diseases and Geographic Medicine offers post-residency training in three subspecialties, including programs accredited by both the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and the Texas Medical Board (TMB).

General ID Fellowship

Accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), the General Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program provides world-class, comprehensive training in the clinical management of infectious diseases and research.

HIV Medicine Fellowship

Approved by the Texas Medical Board (TMB), our HIV Medicine Fellowship is a one-year program that provides comprehensive and rigorous training in both inpatient and outpatient HIV medical care.

Transplant ID Fellowship

Approved by the Texas Medical Board (TMB), our Transplant Infectious Diseases Fellowship is a one-year program that provides clinical training in the management of infections in patients with solid organ transplants, hematopoietic stem cell transplants, lymphoma/ myeloma, and CAR T cell recipients.
