Geriatrician

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Geriatric Medicine, is seeking a Geriatrician. Applicants must have an M.D. degree or equivalent from an approved LCME medical school and satisfactory completion of a Geriatrics Fellowship from an ACGME-accredited program. Candidates must be eligible for Texas medical licensure and be board certified in Internal Medicine. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule. Appointment requires a track record of demonstrated excellence as a clinician and educator. Duties include providing inpatient care while attending on the Eisenberg Geriatrics inpatient and Consults service at CUH and provide outpatient care to patients in our Geriatrics Care Clinic. This faculty member will serve as a preceptor and provide training to fellows, residents and medical students.
