Endocrinologist
The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, Weight Wellness Clinic is seeking an Endocrinologist specializing in obesity medicine. Applicant must have an M.D. degree, or equivalent from an approved LCME medical school and satisfactory completion of an Internal Medicine residency program and Endocrinology fellowship program from an ACGME accredited program. Candidate must be eligible for a Texas medical license and be board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. Duties will include providing integrated medical weight management and specialized care for patients before and after bariatric surgery. The position will manage co-morbidities and complications associated with obesity and bariatric surgery which include diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, nutritional deficiencies and gastrointestinal syndromes. The position will establish professional and therapeutic relationships with patients; counsel patients on lifestyle modification and provide medication support to assist with weight loss and bariatric complications, including reactive hypoglycemia, malnutrition and dumping syndrome. The position will obtain and interpret routine laboratory and radiological tests and integrate pertinent clinical information to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Endocrinology Researcher
The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, is seeking an Instructor. Applicant must have a Ph.D. degree. Candidate must have extensive laboratory experience including tissue culture, molecular biology, mouse handling and dissection, molecular cloning, CRISPR screening, metabolomics, data analysis, and presentation skills using Excel, Prism, and PowerPoint. The candidate will lead projects in cancer research, including the study of Ewing sarcoma, thyroid cancer, and lung cancer, and be able to lead scientific projects from design to execution at the bench.

Endocrinology/Mineral Metabolism Physician
The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, and the Charles and Jane Pak Center for Mineral Metabolism and Clinical Research, is seeking an Endocrinologist specializing in mineral metabolism. Applicant must have an M.D. degree, or equivalent, from an approved LCME medical school and satisfactory completion of an Internal Medicine residency program and Endocrinology fellowship program from an ACGME accredited program. Level of appointment will be commensurate with experience. Candidate must be eligible for a Texas medical license and be board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. Duties will include attending in the wellestablished high profile Mineral Metabolism and Endocrinology clinics at the University and its affiliated hospitals, working with patients with osteoporosis, kidney stones, other metabolic bone diseases and disorders of mineral metabolism, and other disorders of the endocrine system. They will also provide teaching and training of medical students, house staff and fellows, attending for the Endocrinology Division, and involvement in clinical research protocols. This faculty member will develop into a clinical expert consultant in disorders of Mineral Metabolism with a pivotal role in this tertiary referral center.

Candidate must be eligible for Texas medical licensure. Duties will include providing subspecialty care and consultations in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.
