Division Chief

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, invites nominations and applications for the position of Chief, Division of Cardiology. This position represents a major leadership appointment in the Department and one of the premier positions in cardiology in the country.

Applicants must be board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology and be eligible for Texas medical licensure. The Chief of Cardiology will be expected to oversee existing and develop new programs in the areas of clinical research, basic research, patient care, and medical education.

Candidates must have a distinguished record and national reputation in scholarly achievement including research, a commitment to graduate medical education, and proven management and leadership skills in the clinical practice in cardiology. Candidates are expected to contribute to the teaching and training of medical and graduate students, housestaff, and fellows. Cardio-Oncology Cardiologist
