Medical Student Research Opportunities
The Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery is deeply committed to providing research opportunities for medical students. We strive to ensure that medical students have a meaningful learning experience.
Medical students contribute to mentored research projects, instilling the importance of formulating relevant clinical questions, designing and conducting valid studies to answer them, and developing the confidence to communicate their findings in ways that drive meaningful improvements in clinical practice throughout their careers. The Department holds an Annual Research Day to bring together faculty, students, residents, fellows, and staff in celebration of their research achievements.
We receive numerous inquiries from medical students, residents, fellows, and research professionals seeking research opportunities. To efficiently review these requests and match applicants with suitable projects and mentors, we have established an application process.
