Ob/Gyn Hospitalist Fellowship Research

Ob/Gyn Hospitalist fellows are encouraged to develop independent research projects under faculty supervision. Trainees receive research training and advance the field through training in evidence-based research methods, and pursue scholarly work in areas that include:

• Quality improvement and patient safety
• Healthcare delivery systems
• Acute and critical care: managing complex or critically ill patients
• Infectious diseases: recognizing and treating hospital-acquired infections and emerging infections
• Medical education and leadership: teaching skills, mentorship, and leading multidisciplinary teams
• Health equity and cultural competency
