Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery Education

The Division of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery helps train the next generation of providers who will treat women suffering from urogynecological problems. We are active in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows.

Medical Students

We are committed to the teaching and mentorship of all medical students, with several medical students performing research projects with us and shadowing us during care.

Residents

Our faculty actively participate in the training of residents in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program. Similar to our interaction with medical students, we help through teaching and mentorship.

Fellowship

The fellowship in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS) is a three-year program, accredited by the ACGME, and designed to train obstetrician-gynecologists or urologists for productive careers in academic medicine.
