How to Apply
Our three-year ACGME-accredited program is approved for four fellows in a rotating 2-1-1 format.
The Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship follows the SGO Common Dates for fellowship applications and interview invitation dates.
Applicants apply for the program through the Electronic Residency Application Survey (ERAS). The ERAS program number to apply to our program is 2254822002.
Eligibility Requirements
Requirements for participation in this fellowship include:
- Satisfactory completion of an ACGME- or RCPSC-approved residency in obstetrics and gynecology
- Successful completion of the ABOG written examination
- Eligibility for a license to practice medicine from the Texas Board of Medical Examiners
Accepted fellows must be licensed to practice medicine in the state of Texas prior to initiation of the fellowship (July 1).
Application Requirements
All application materials must be received by the application deadline:
- The completed ERAS application
- Curriculum vitae
- Personal statement
- Official medical school transcript
- USMLE scores
- COMLEX scores
- CREOG scores
- Three letters of recommendation, which must include at least one Standardized Gyn-Onc SLOE and the Standardized PD/Supervisor SLOE
- Additional letters can be of your choosing and in any format: away rotation, gynecologic oncologist, current supervisors, chairperson, another physician, etc.
