Kate Mangona, M.D.

Assistant Professor, Department of Radiology

Medical Director of Pediatric Imaging, Parkland Health & Hospital System

  • Did you ever wish someone gave you an instruction manual when they handed you your baby to take home after delivery? And then updated it when they became a toddler, middle schooler, and then teenager?
  • Do you ever think to yourself, "Will the chaos EVER end?"
  • Do you ever regret yelling or saying something hurtful to your little(s)?
  • Do you ever find yourself dreading dinnertime or bedtime as you know it will be another night of negotiating with terrorists?
  • Do you find yourself spinning out of control not knowing how to handle these big emotions from such little humans?
  • Do you call these years the "survival" years?
  • Do you ever worry they may end up needing therapy because of something you did or said as a parent?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, this lecture is made for you by a busy professional parent just like you. This is your invitation to 60 minutes of refocus, reflection, and reconnection with yourself and your littles.
