The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW) is committed to supporting the participation of service-deisabled veteran-owned businesses in our procurement process. In line with the State of Texas Veteran Heroes United in Business (VetHUB) Program rules, UTSW uses a streamlined subcontracting approach that emphasizes either self-performance or a demonstrated good-faith effort when subcontracting opportunities arise. Vendors are encouraged to actively engage with certified service-disabled veteran-owned businesses to promote inclusive contracting practices and expand opportunities within the UTSW vendor community.
