October 2025 Visa Bulletin

The U.S. Department of State has released the October 2025 Visa Bulletin (VB), which outlines priority dates for green card applicants. A priority date determines an applicant’s place in the visa queue. When that date becomes "current," eligible applicants may file for adjustment of status (if in the U.S.) or apply for an immigrant visa abroad. 

The October VB shows net advancement across many employment categories, with several significant advances in EB-2/EB-3 chargeability-area.

EB-1 (Priority Workers)

All other areas: No change (remains Current).
China-mainland born: Advances by 1 month 7 days.
India: No change.
Mexico / Philippines: No change.

EB-2 (Advanced degree / exceptional ability)

All other areas: Advances by 3 months.
China: Advances by 3 months 17 days.
India: Advances by 3 months.
Mexico / Philippines: Advances by 3 months.

EB-3 (Skilled Workers & Professionals) /p>

All other areas: No change.
China: Advances by 3 months.
India: Advances by 3 months.
Mexico: No change.
Philippines: Advances by 1 month 24 days.
