MRI magnet installation to close Inwood entrance to NC building

On Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 24-25, a new MRI magnet will be installed in the Seay Biomedical Building (NC) building and will require the Inwood Road entrance be closed to pedestrians.

The closure is necessary to allow a semi-trailer truck and crane to position itself in front of the valet entrance so as to safely install an MRI magnet through the third story window from the courtyard floor. NC building patients and visitors will be rerouted via the Harry Hines North Campus garage entry straight to the NC building lobby entrance.

Valet service will continue to be provided on Saturday through the garage entry in front of the NC Building entrance.
