Hamon Biomedical Research Building entrance and two floors to close Sunday morning

To allow for the replacement of two roof-mounted exhaust fans, the area at the front entrance of the Hamon Biomedical Research Building (NA) off Harry Hines, including the circular drive and entrances to the garage, will be closed from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 27. The closure will allow a semitrailer truck to deliver and haul away exhaust fans and a helicopter to unload existing exhaust fans to the truck and load new fans from the truck to the roof of NA for installation.

All direct access for UTSW employees other than Police or Facilities will be closed during this window. In addition, Floors 7 and 8 of NA will be vacated. This closure is necessary to provide a clear and safe working area for the helicopter lifting material on and off the roof.

Access to other North Campus facilities during this period will be only via the Inwood or Forest Park entrances. After 11:30 a.m., all entrances will reopen.
