Sign up for optional Building Interruption Alerts

The Office of Safety and Business Continuity has partnered with Facilities Management to provide you with an optional text message and email for rapid notification of incidents in your work area in order for you to take appropriate actions. This tool – known as Building Interruption Alerts – is an opt-in system that allows personnel to use network credentials to receive notifications based on selected building and floor locations. The intent is to provide you with timely notification of an incident occurring that may require you to activate your plan. Examples of these incidents may include water leaks, power outages, and other building damages. Please note that this will not replace the campus-wide emergency messages. Building Interruption Alerts will be sent once emergency procedures are underway and responders determine the level of impact.
