Bolstering Research success: An INsider's Guide seminar series

The Neuroscience Research Development (NeRD) office is launching the BRAIN (Bolstering Research success: An INsider's guide) Seminar series, staring the 2019-2020 academic year. The BRAIN seminar series is open to all O’Donnell Brain Institute and UT Southwestern faculty, students, residents, fellows, and staff who are interested in learning tips and tricks to enhance their skills as a researcher.

Topics for this year will include the basics of grants and contracts, what happens after a grant is funded, managing people and finances, mentoring, and effectively using social media professionally. The seminars will be delivered by experts in a variety of engaging formats including lightning talks, panel discussions and fireside chats. 

All presentations will be held 3-4 p.m. on the designated dates.
