Learn to defend yourself against rape and aggression with UTSW Police’s RAD workshop

As part of its ongoing campus community outreach program, the University Police Department offers basic, advanced and simulation self-defense training courses called RAD, or Rape and Aggression Defense. Courses are provided free of charge and conducted on the UT Southwestern campus. Although this program is primarily intended for UTSW-affiliated women, it is offered to nonaffiliated women on a first-come, first-served basis, when open seats are available. Course instructors are Police Department employees who have been certified as RAD instructors. Register for classes in Taleo.
