Application deadline Oct. 1: Leadership Emerging in Academic Departments (LEAD) Program

The LEAD Program will begin accepting applications on Sept. 4 for the 2019 class. The Program is designed for junior faculty who aspire to develop their leadership skills through a curriculum that includes modules on self-discovery, communication, influence, negotiation, difficult conversations, inspiring trust, and embracing diversity. The 2019 class begins December 2018 and includes 10 monthly four-hour sessions on Fridays from 1-5 p.m. through December 2019.

Assistant Professors and Associate Professors (fewer than four years in rank) are eligible. Underrepresented minority faculty members are encouraged to apply.
