We empower UTSW research by giving our colleagues easy access to the HPC infrastructure needed to tackle their most pressing life science questions.
Housed in the academic yet tech-savvy Lyda Hill Department of Bioinformatics, our infrastructure and services are interwoven with the fabric of UT Southwestern, one of the premier medical centers in the country.
Our team covers all aspects of HPC for users, from technical jobs like system expansion and maintenance to carrying out collaborative work on computational aspects of research projects. We also support current UTSW PhD students and PostDocs interested in applying computer science to their ongoing biomedical research projects via a competitive BioHPC Fellowship that provides salary for 20% effort.
