Mission Statement

This group aims to unite faculty across departments and disciplines to reinforce the centrality of integrated approaches in understanding how microorganisms influence human health. We're committed to enhancing research infrastructure by improving microbial sequencing and immune phenotyping facilities, and establishing a biorepository for clinical and microbial samples. Our initiatives also include running a comprehensive seminar series and a campus-wide symposium to bridge basic and clinical research teams. These initiatives will ultimately allow UT Southwestern to continue to lead in this crucial area of public health and medicine.

Please join us in this exciting venture to explore and unravel the complexities of host-microbe relationships!
