Teacher Resource Lesson Plans
A variety of lesson plans are available to teachers for free, including lessons used in our STARS Science Summer Camps and those created by our teachers participating in the STARS Summer Research Program.
We host six summer camps, and can share lesson plans used by students and teachers in the following topics:
- Middle School (for incoming 8th grade students)
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
- Anatomy and Physiology
- Biotechnology
Additionally, teachers that participate in the STARS Summer Research Program design an applicable lesson plan that relates their lab research to a classroom. The lesson plans vary in scope and level of applicability. These activities have not been field-tested and are presented in draft form.
If you are interested in gaining access to available lesson plans, send an starsmail@utsouthwestern.edu, and you will be sent a link to a OneDrive folder that contains lesson plans from the past five years plus some historical lesson plans.
