Foundations, Application, Methodology, and Effectiveness in Quality Improvement (FAME - QI)

The series introduces foundational QI tools and methodologies to students in the Physician Assistant program at UT Southwestern's School of Health Professions. Instruction consists of concise live didactics supplemented by on-demand video training, virtual coaching, and project facilitation.

Following the live didactic training, the seven weekly virtual sessions guide participants in practicing and applying QI tools, frameworks, and supplementary materials to work on QI projects in their clinical environments.

FAME QI supports participants through structured feedback, iterative project development, and real-world application to advance measurable improvements or generate actionable recommendations. The course culminates in a storyboard workshop that prepares participants to present their work at national or regional venues.
