Advanced Course in Quality Improvement: SALT QI (Systems Thinking, Application, Leadership, and Teamwork in Quality Improvement)

The SALT QI curriculum emphasizes logical progression: starting with foundational review and tool application through a systems perspective, moving to error analysis and safety, then to collaborative teamwork and leadership, and culminating in implementation and dissemination. This ensures purposeful building of skills for sustainable healthcare improvements. To facilitate deeper application, the course is delivered over four monthly sessions (one day per month), allowing participants time between sessions to apply the learned concepts to their real-world QI projects.

Who Should Attend

This course is designed for physicians, nurses, advanced practice providers, administrators, medical researchers, healthcare staff, and other professionals. This course is appropriate for applicants who have completed introductory QI courses or earned Six Sigma yellow or green belt certification.
