Allergy & Immunology
There are two distinct Divisions of Allergy and Immunology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. One is part of the Pediatrics Department, while the other is part of the Internal Medicine Department.
Under the direction of chief J. Andrew (Drew) Bird, M.D., Ph.D., the two divisions work closely together, striving for excellence in offering state-of-the-art care in an environment of high-quality research and education.
As a reflection of the collaboration between the two Departments, this website offers one joint Allergy & Immunology section in the Department of Pediatrics. Information on the page is labeled clearly throughout as pediatric information, adult information, or, where appropriate information for everyone.
