Professional and Personal Background: Cynthia has devoted more than two decades to research, continuously finding joy in contributing to the dynamic work of innovation. Recently, Cynthia was invited to join UT’s research mentoring program, where she eagerly anticipates sharing her knowledge while also being open to learning from mentees. She firmly believes that learning manifests in diverse forms. During her free time, Cynthia enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, watching movies, and reading.

Professional and Personal Background: I am the senior regulatory associate for the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, which I’ve transitioned from a clinical research coordinator into my current role. I’ve been in the department for 7 years and have an extensive background in clinical research with 14 years of experience. Outside of work, I love spending time with my kids, watching movies, bowling, traveling, and taking pictures. I’m also a photographer and I enjoy shooting weddings.

Morgan Ballard

Professional and Personal Background: Morgan has been employed at UT Southwestern for 2.5 years. She was first employed as a research assistant in a research lab to one of the Orthopedic Physicians, and after a year she was promoted to the clinical research team. When Morgan is not working, she volunteers with organizations that are dedicated to helping African American students pursue careers in STEM, exploring different restaurants in the city, finding cool things to do in the city such as a cooking class, wine tasting, or workout classes.
