What kind of resident are you looking for?
We seek diverse, hardworking individuals who are passionate about providing care and advocating for under-resourced women in Dallas County. Despite being in a large program, our residents are a close-knit community and value the importance of teamwork. They exhibit resilience, compassion, and a profound dedication to their patients, peers, and families.
- Do you accept pre- or post-interview communication?
Do you accept pre- or post-interview communication?
If you wish to express interest in our program, we accept "signaling" through the ResidencyCAS secondary application as pre-interview communication. Any additional communication sent via email will be reviewed but is unlikely to influence interview invitations unless it contributes to the holistic review.
We kindly request that applicants refrain from sending multiple emails regarding their interest in our program. Post-interview communication is accepted but not required. Applicants can send any communication to the program or the interviewer via email and should avoid postal mail. Please note that the program will initiate minimal to no communication after the interview.
- Will you allow an in-person or a virtual second look after interviews?
Will you allow an in-person or a virtual second look after interviews?
We will not be hosting an in-person second look event. Information about any potential virtual second look events, organized by the program or the institution, will be communicated through ResidencyCAS. Attending these virtual events is entirely optional and will not impact the ranking of applicants.
Applicants are welcome to visit Dallas and our campus after their interviews, but to ensure fairness, the Program Director will not meet with any applicants during these visits.
