At UT Southwestern Medical Center, our Office of Advanced Practice Providers (OAPP) supports more than 1,000 physician assistants (PAs), nurse practitioners (NPs), nurse midwives (CNMs), clinical nurse specialists (CNS), and nurse anesthetists (CRNAs) – collectively referred to as advanced practice providers (APPs).
Established in 2014, the OAPP is committed to providing an environment of innovation where APPs work toward achieving their professional practice goals through continued development, support, and mentorship, all while delivering exceptional, multidisciplinary patient care.
