Since 2013, Edward Daniel, Ph.D. has been a familiar presence at UT Southwestern Match Day celebrations, performing the drumroll that gives eager medical students the signal to rip into envelopes that reveal their residency program matches. March 19 final marked his time to make a residency match after training for nearly nine years in the Medical Scientist Training Program.

As of the morning of Friday, Jan. 15, UT Southwestern has administered more than 33,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine.
