OCHRE's Community Advisory Panel (CAP) is a group of diverse community, patient, and caregiver stakeholders who assist in accessing community health care and social services, especially in communities such as those served by Dallas County’s integrated safety-net system, Parkland Health. The CAP helps researchers learn about community needs and priorities and to inform their work from the client or patient perspective.

UT Southwestern offers a two-year Clinical Informatics Fellowship through the Department of Pediatrics to physicians who are certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or board-eligible in one of the ABMS primary specialties. The fellowship provides a broad clinical informatics experience and is supported by the Clinical Informatics Center.
