Mental Health Awareness Month

This Mental Health Awareness Month, our Employee Support team and Headspace partners have put together some tips to help you prioritize your mental health, create healthier boundaries, manage stress, and build mindfulness habits that support your well-being.
Find your workplace community
Develop strong, supportive, trusting relationships.
Set and communicate healthy boundaries
This can help give you a sense of control with your work, your time, and your happiness.
Check in with yourself and prioritize self-care
Take a moment each day to notice how you are truly feeling. Engage in activities that help you relax and recharge (e.g., reading, listening to music, spending time in nature, pursuing a hobby, etc.). Even small acts of self-care can make a big difference.
Practice relaxation techniques
Explore methods like deep breathing, meditation, yoga, or progressive muscle relaxation to help manage stress.
Take mental and movement breaks
Taking breaks to stretch or walk is a great way to literally step away from stress, reset your focus and emotions, and boost your energy.
Make your calendar work for you
Just like you block out time for work, it helps to schedule time for your relationships, self-care, and alone time.
If you haven’t already, you can enroll in Headspace today for more resources to help you prioritize your self-care, including mindfulness and meditation content, a Mental Health Awareness Calendar for daily prompts, along with sleep stories and more.
