SECC 2025

At UT Southwestern, compassion and service are part of our DNA. One of the most meaningful ways we live out these values is through the State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC) – a giving initiative that allows us to support causes that matter deeply to each of us.

Now through Oct. 31, you can make a lasting impact by donating to one of nearly 1,000 carefully vetted charities at the local, national, and international level. Whether you’re passionate about supporting children in need, animals, environmental sustainability, or research to find cures, there’s a cause waiting for your support.

This year, our goal is to raise $300,000. If every UTSW employee gave just $14, we’d reach that goal and help meet critical needs in our community and beyond.

Making a donation is easy:

  • Browse the list of charities to find causes that matter most to you.
  • Make a one-time donation via a credit/debit card via Converge Pay or set up a monthly payroll deduction via PeopleSoft.

Be sure to check the Events Calendar for dates of various SECC pop-ups across campus. Our team will be there to assist with the donation process, answer questions, and share some treats and swag to thank you for your support.

Plus, by participating, you could win one of 50 exciting prizes, including a one-of-a-kind experience with the Dallas Mavericks, State Fair of Texas tickets, a chance to join the FC Dallas fantasy camp, HTeaO gift baskets, and more!

Visit the SECC page or secc-campaign@utsouthwestern.edu the SECC committee to learn more.

Together, we hope you will help us continue UT Southwestern’s legacy of care and generosity.

Sincerely,
