Model Systems

The Model Systems Knowledge Translation Center is funded by the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research. The model systems outline research and identify health care needs in individuals who have been diagnosed with traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and burn injury.

UT Southwestern Medical Center participates in collecting data from burn injury patients, as well as those diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury.
