UT Southwestern Hansjörg Wyss Symposium
The UT Southwestern Department of Orthopaedic Surgery hosts the UT Southwestern Hansjörg Wyss Symposium, which focuses on orthopaedic case studies from special guest speakers from around the country and internationally.
The event was made possible by a generous endowment funded by the Hansjörg Wyss Medical Foundation. The gift was given to the UT Southwestern Medical Center Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in honor of the great Dr. Roby Mize. This annual symposium alternates between centering around trauma and fragility fractures.

Join us for the UT Southwestern Hansjörg Wyss Geriatric Fracture Symposium hosted by the UT Southwestern Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. This event will be held June 2-3, 2023, at the Clements University Hospital Lecture Hall. Featuring guest speakers from across the country who will present on orthopaedic case studies and foster discussion on geriatric fractures.

Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport is the primary international airport hub serving the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, which is 17 miles away from the UT Southwestern Campus.
