UT Southwestern Medical Center is recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the nation's top hospitals for obstetrics and gynecology care.

The Division of Generalist Obstetrics and Gynecology works side-by-side with the Division Maternal-Fetal Medicine to care for women throughout their lives.

Our Division provides services in both UT Southwestern University Hospitals and Clinics and the Parkland Health & Hospital System. We practice at sites throughout the Southwestern Medical District and in Dallas and surrounding communities.

In the UT Southwestern Comprehensive Obstetrics and Gynecology program, our ambulatory care offices are located on the 5th floor of Professional Office Building 2, and at UT Southwestern Clinical Centers in Las Colinas, Park Cities, and Richardson/Plano. Outpatient surgeries are performed at UT Southwestern’s Outpatient Building, and inpatient services are provided at William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital.

The Parkland Health & Hospital System’s Women’s and Infants’ Specialty Health service provides prenatal, gynecological/well-woman, and family planning services to women of all ages. Our faculty oversee a vast network of community-based ambulatory Women’s Health Centers. Outpatient surgeries are performed at the Simmons Ambulatory Surgery Center and inpatient obstetrical and gynecological services are provided at Parkland Memorial Hospital.

No matter where they receive their care, our patients have access to a dedicated team of obstetricians, gynecologists, and health care professionals — underscoring our commitment to both public and private clinical service.

Our blog, Your Pregnancy Matters, is a resource for pregnant women and lets women share their stories.
