Meet the New Chief Residents in PM&R
Grace Meehan, D.O., is originally from Westport, Connecticut. She completed her undergraduate studies at Texas Tech University and attended medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center – Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. Grace enjoys going to Pilates classes with her co-residents and is an avid reader. She also serves as a member of the GME Housestaff Council, where she contributes to institutional initiatives and resident advocacy.
Jeremiah Ling, M.D., is originally from Houston, Texas. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas and earned his medical degree from Texas A&M College of Medicine. Prior to starting at UTSW as an advanced resident, Jeremiah completed his intern year at HCA Houston West/University of Houston. An avid runner, he has been known to complete marathons in under three hours. He is actively involved in planning resident social events that bring the program together outside the hospital.
Niran Vijayaraghavan, M.D., is originally from Jacksonville, Florida. He completed both his undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Florida. He plans to pursue a sports medicine fellowship and is an enthusiastic participant in the resident basketball and pickleball leagues. Passionate about the intersection of coaching and medicine, he has been involved in resident recruitment efforts and has contributed to the UTSW PM&R Medical Student Interest Group.
Drs. Meehan, Ling, and Vijayaraghavan look forward to building on the strengths of the residency program and hope to continue to create meaningful opportunities for connection. Whether through social events, shared wellness activities, or exploring new restaurants around Dallas, they hope to nurture a strong sense of community across classes.
As Chief Residents, their goals include supporting open communication, fostering mentorship, and helping each resident feel empowered in their personal and professional growth. Above all, they are committed to strengthening our program for the classes that follow and ensuring that every resident thrives during their training.
