UT Southwestern’s Department of Plastic Surgery is nationally and internationally recognized for delivering outstanding, innovative clinical care to both adult and pediatric patients, including the development of groundbreaking cosmetic and reconstructive procedures that improve our patient’s lives. Although we are located in North Texas, individuals from throughout the United States and even the world seek out our distinguished faculty.

Comprehensive Clinical Care

As the largest Plastic Surgery training program in the country, we offer comprehensive clinical experiences that are both balanced and diverse. Our faculty members expose the next generation of surgeons to procedures using effective innovations and the newest technology, for cases that range from the routine to the highly complex. In many instances, the knowledge and techniques were forged here at UT Southwestern. Our patients receive unparalleled clinical care in:

Exceptional Resources and Environment

Our clinical practice provides highly personalized care supported by evidence-based medicine. This includes offering the latest breakthroughs in procedures and treatments to patients, while focusing on their safety and optimal outcomes. Our offices are located in state-of-the-art facilities at UT Southwestern’s Outpatient Building. We occupy 21,000 square feet, including an eight-room outpatient surgery facility, as well as a four-star hotel-like experience through our Medallion Guest Suites.

Our Plastic Surgery team also includes licensed skin care, lymphatic drainage massage, and laser professionals, enhancing the pre-and post-operative services we provide.

Highest Levels of Patient Satisfaction

Patients consistently rank UT Southwestern’s Department of Plastic Surgery high in satisfaction. According to surveys compiled and analyzed by Press Ganey, UT Southwestern Plastic Surgery’s satisfaction scores are among the top in the nation, scoring higher than 99 percent of other practices in our peer group.
