Yan Peng serves as founding Deputy Editor-in-Chief of JCTP

Dr. Yan Peng is a professor of pathology with a subspecialty in breast pathology. The year 2025 marked her 20th anniversary with the Department of Pathology at UT Southwestern.

The Journal of Clinical and Translational Pathology (JCTP; pISSN: 2993-5202; eISSN: 2771-165X) is an English-language scientific journal jointly sponsored and published by the Chinese American Pathologists Association (CAPA) and Xia & He Publishing Inc. JCTP publishes high-quality, peer-reviewed original research articles, reviews, perspectives, commentaries, and letters that are relevant to clinical and translational pathology.
Dr. Yan Peng, Professor of Pathology, has served as a founding Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the journal since 2021 and will complete this service in 2026. JCTP is currently indexed in the Scopus database and is a member journal of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics).
Dr. Peng also served as Editor for a textbook Practical Breast Pathology (Springer, 2019), and for a Breast Pathology Special Issue of Seminars in Diagnostic Pathology (Elsevier, 2022) and of Human Pathology (Elsevier, 2025). She has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications, primarily focusing on breast cancer research.
