Pediatric gastrointestinal pathology is a subspecialized area of pathology which focuses on pediatric diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.
The pediatric gastrointestinal pathology specialist is a consultant to pediatric gastroenterologists in the diagnosis of diseases of the esophagus, stomach, and intestines. Diseases are both neoplastic and non-neoplastic.
