Mortality and morbidity conferences and journal club are held monthly. Grand Rounds are held quarterly.

Conferences have been developed on a two-year curriculum to assure that all aspects of orthopaedic surgery are presented and are geared toward medical student, resident, and physician education.

Our Department Chair supports those in need...

Our Department Chair, Antonia Chen, M.D./M.B.A, traveled with Women Orthopedist Global Outreach (WOGO) on a mission trip to Tanzania. While in Tanzania, Dr. Chen and several WOGO surgeons provided life-changing joint replacement surgeries to those in need as well met with local surgeons and interacted with the community.

"The Return That Restores is more than a mission, it’s a homecoming. Eleven years after their first visit, WOGO returns to Tanzania, not just to heal, but to reconnect. For some, it’s a powerful reunion. For others, it’s a first glimpse into a purpose larger than themselves."
