Willed Body Program
Brain donation is a powerful gift that advances the mission of the ADRC by enabling researchers to better understand Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, leading to improved diagnosis, treatment, and future prevention. Our Willed Body Program staff members work diligently with families and other medical professionals in order to facilitate the donation process

View all eventsThe North Texas Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (NT-ADRC) is a comprehensive hub that supports innovative research, offers diverse training opportunities, and provides education that empowers both patients and caregivers.
With the shared goal of enhancing the care and lives of those dealing with Alzheimer's disease (AD) and related dementias (ADRD), our Center focuses on examining the role of hypertension and other cardiometabolic factors in the early phases of AD/ADRD, developing innovative biomarkers for early detection, and identifying related therapeutic targets.
Funded by the National Institute on Aging (NIA) and the UT Southwestern Department of Neurology, we bring together nationally and internationally recognized researchers from UT Southwestern, UT Dallas, and UT Arlington. We have experts in neuroimaging, informatics, and machine learning who plan to expand artificial intelligence (AI/ML) capabilities in the neurosciences. Learn more about us.
