First Nations Intertribal Alliance Business Resource Group BRG

We create a space of community for Natives who have connections back to their Tribal Communities to connect with one another and with allies. We are proud people with a long tradition of being involved with our communities, and we hope to build on that tradition here at UT Southwestern.

Our Impact

  • Educate the campus community about First Nations People to foster awareness and appreciation.
  • Create a positive environment and understanding of issues that impact the Native community at UTSW.
  • Highlight indigenous knowledge to bring forth new perspectives and enrich the cultural fabric of our community.
  • Help Native members embrace their cultural identities and concurrently educate our allies and non-Native members about our proud histories.

Our Vision

The First Nations Intertribal Alliance Business Resource Group (BRG) aims to promote and teach the diverse cultures of tribal affiliations while advancing the needs and professional development of the tribal community at UT Southwestern. Through the means of peer-education and community engagement, we hope to create an inclusive environment that is committed to healing, educating, and discovering.
