Our vision is to engage our community, not just on our campus but around our city. Every other month, GHHS assembles a team of students to come together to work on a specific project. Previous and upcoming projects are outlined below.

Away Rotations Omar Hariri, Class of 2017 Reasons to do an away: Necessary – some fields (surgical subspecialties, EM) essentially require that you do away rotations High interest in a specific program – i.e. if you really want to go somewhere specifically, and are confident that you can rock the rotation and make a strong case for that program to rank you highly. Keep in mind that you will give them plenty of opportunities to find things they don’t like about you – so make sure you are on top

Mental Health and Wellness Plated with Purpose Extracurricular, faculty-hosted gatherings every month for small groups of students devoted to topics that reflect the "hidden curriculum." Faculty member opens his or her home and hosts a discussion on the topic of their choice, e.g. dealing with death/grief, preventing physician burnout, work/life balance, etc. Serves as an excellent opportunity to connect students with additional Acknowledging Our Humanity GHHS is partnering with the student

Ph.D. in Public Health Tuition & Fees

Our GHHS chapter has designed a series of peer-led discussions to address this need, creating a safe learning environment for students and developing a culture of leadership and peer-to-peer teaching among students. These discussions are defined by a sharing of ideas as opposed to binary solutions

Master of Science in Clinical Investigation - School of Public Health Tuition & Fees

Screening Our Sisters seeks to reduce late-stage diagnosis of breast cancer in minority women in high-risk geographical areas.

The Middle School Camp is offered to 6th and 7th grade teachers and to rising 7th and 8th graders (current 6th and 7th graders).

Biology Camp is offered to Biology teachers and to rising 9th graders (current 8th graders).
