Research and Academic Systems (RAS) creates and supports leading-edge technical solutions that serve the IT needs of the UT Southwestern’s research and education core missions. [The group was formerly know as Academic Information Systems (AIS).]

The Telecom and Network Infrastructure Division of Information Resources focuses on design, analysis, management, and implementation of the IP (data) and telephony infrastructure.

The Enterprise Systems and Services (ESS) division (formerly Systems and Data Center Operations or SOG) of Information Resources provides support and management duties for UT Southwestern’s centralized infrastructure components, including the Data Hall (Data Center).

The Faculty Women's Club serves to welcome newcomers and promote fellowship within the UT Southwestern Medical Center community.
