Murphy Division of Nephrology Director, Center for Kidney Disease Innovation Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai About Jonathan Himmelfarb: Dr. Himmelfarb holds a bachelor’s degree in English and American literature from Brandeis University. He received his medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine and completed internal medicine residency training at Maine Medical Center, followed by fellowship training in nephrology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
